On 13th April 2007, the Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, launched a series of government initiatives to improve the housing delivery system.

Further to the launching, we are pleased to inform you that the Building Industry Presidents’ Council (BIPC) comprising ACEM, IEM, ISM, MBAM, MIP, PAM and REHDA, is organizing a roadshow to brief members of the industry on these initiatives, which include the One-Stop Centre (OSC), the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC), incentives for Build then Sell (BTS) as well as the Building and Common Property (Maintenance & Management) Act 2007.
The Minister of Housing and Local Government, YB Ong Ka Ting, has agreed to deliver a keynote address at the Roadshow. Senior officials from the Ministry of housing and Local Government (MHLG) and private sector consultants who were involved in the drafting of these initiatives have been invited to brief members of the industry.
